”Transformers” was a movie that everyone was looking forward to, including GM. The movie features the brand new 2009 Camaro and GM is hoping Bumblebee, the character that plays the Camaro will be liked by everyone. Their hope paid off. Lamborghini has been on a roll these days. It had a record year last year with 2,087 units sold. It introduced special editions of the Murcielago and Gallardo, as well as upgraded the “regular” Murci to LP640 status. A roadster version of the LP640 was a no-brainer and showed up soon after. They also let slip that a super lightweight version of the bread-and-butter Gallardo would be debuting in Geneva. (more…)

American sports cars have to have V-8 engines, but the modern breed, like the Panoz Esperante GT have ultra-modern engines combined with a good framework for a production sports car. In this case a frame made up of aluminum extrusions. True, carbon fiber is lighter, but it is also very expensive, while the aluminum frame is fairly light and rigid, and less expensive to produce. Being 6 months pregnant I get to have the fun of purchasing new things that I have always wanted. I get to decorate the babies room with the furniture I would love her to have and I can paint the room the color that would just be perfect.
