Welcoming The New Addition
As most of you know I had my first baby a few months ago. When I first learned that I was pregnant both me and my husband were excited and couldn’t wait for the day when we would welcome her into the world.
As the long 9 months ticked by our excitement never wavered – but we soon found that both of us were growing nervous by the day. It dawned on us that we didn’t really know everything that we needed to get for her. Of course we knew the basic things – like baby furniture– but what kind? There are so many things out there and it all became so overwhelming.
That’s when we found For This Child – a great site for all things baby. They helped us to create a list of all of the important items – allowing us to weed out the ones that could be given as gifts.
They also helped us to choose the right baby clothes that we thought would be great for her. They helped us understand that the way you dress your baby shows people what personality your baby could have. We really wanted her to be able to choose when she is ready for that so we decided to stick to more neutral colors and styles for baby clothing that we bought.
For This Child was a lifesaver and we were able to get what we needed before our bundle of joy arrived. So when she finally got here all we had to do was enjoy her company – and make occasional trips for diapers!
