‘Disturbia’ Movie Review

‘Disturbia’ PosterStarring: Shia LaBeouf, Carrie-Ann Moss, David Morse, Sarah Roemer, and Aaron Yoo.

Synopsis: After his father’s death, Kale becomes sullen, withdrawn, and a rebellious troubled teenager, so much so that he finds himself under a court-ordered sentence of house arrest. The walls of his house begin to close in on Kale. He becomes a voyeur as his interests turn outside the windows of his suburban home towards those of his neighbors, one of which Kale begins to suspect is a serial killer. But, are his suspicions merely the product of cabin fever and his overactive imagination?

Review: If anyone is a fan of the classic movies then they will notice that this is like a re-make of Alfred Hitchcock’s “Rear Window”. Of course it is different and modern in its own way.

Shia LaBeouf does a brilliant job acting the role out and is quickly becoming quite a popular actor. The movie, which has all of the edge of your seat thrills that you would want in a movie, keeps you going and interested till the end. It keeps you guessing what is real and what is fiction. This is a definite must-see film.
