1979 Corvette

CorvetteSure it may be old, but it is not only a classic but a beauty as well. Who wouldn’t want to be seen driving this beautiful corvette. Can you imagine driving along the highway doing major speeds and attracting the envy from everyone else? Tempting isn’t it? Just remember not to get caught!

The 1979 Chevrolet Corvette was the top-selling Corvette of all time, with 53,807 cars sold. It remained pretty much unchanged from the 1978 model, with the exception of the disappearance of the “25th Anniversary” markers from the ’78s and the change in emblem.

A new rear spoiler originally limited to the 1978 Pace Car Replica was available. The base engine was the 350-ci small block V8, rated at 195 horsepower. The L82 option bumped the horses up to 225.
