Order Of The Pheonix Sneak Peak
One of my favorite websites to find the best news for Harry Potter is Mugglenet.com. I prefer it over the WB website for Harry Potter because they have everything that, as a fan, I want to hear.
And to prove my point I found a sneak peak review of the movie that someone was able to share. Triwizard was able to see a special preview of the movie and give feedback. Take into account that the movie is not quite finished when Triwizard saw it and this is only one review.
Triwizards’ Review - I went to the screening for the fifth HP movie and thought that it was quite good; however, the ending was a little flat. I realize that there are a lot of details from the book to put into this movie, and I feel that some key details were left out.As soon as the movie started, I realized that the magic was back. To me it felt like the first two movies. Remember the wonderment of seeing and feeling what it would be like to fly on a broom, what the inside of Hogwarts looked like for the very first time? All of that mystery was back when it came to the scenes of the Ministry and the Hall of Prophecy.
The Dementors looked different in this movie than the last. Sirius’s relationship with Bellatrix is never explained, which I thought is important to show. When Sirius died, it didn’t show the hatred between he and his cousin or explain why Sirius was blasted off the Black tapestry.
Kreature had hardly any role other than cleaning. I did expect the House of Black to be much bigger than it was and missed not seeing Sirius’ mother’s portrait screaming. I really liked the fact that they showed Harry taking on the task of teaching the DA spells to defend themselves. He seemed more mature and in control.
As for the ending, I think it was disjointed. It needs to be pulled together more, especially when you see the [Death Eaters] in the Hall of Prophecy. If you hadn’t read the books, you wouldn’t know who those masked people were.
There are some funny parts. I especially liked the part when Shacklebolt tells Fudge that Dumbeldore has style when he disappears. All in all I thought the movie was great! Much better than the last two.
