‘Catch And Release’ Review

‘Catch and Release’ PosterStarring: Jennifer Garner, Timothy Olyphant, Juliette Lewis, Sam Jaeger, and Fiona Shaw.

Synopsis: A woman faced with a tragedy discovers that the man she loved was not all she imagined him to be in this romantic comedy-drama. Grey was a woman who found the man of her dreams in Grady Douglas, and was looking forward to spending the rest of her life with him until he suddenly died only a few days before they were to be married. Grey is emotionally devastated but has to deal with the practicalities of her new life alone.

Short on cash and in need of emotional support Grey finds herself often chatting with Fritz Grady’s best friend, throughout it all she’s always regarded him as a sleazeball. As time passes, Grey discovers that Grady had a secret life he never shared with her, including a young son from a previous relationship, and as she tries to come to terms with the past of her former fiancé, she struggles to put her new life on track, and finds herself reevaluating her long-held feelings about Fritz.

Review: I know what everyone is thinking. Yet, another romantic movie with the same predictable ending. But let’s face it, every woman out there loves to watch a good romantic movie. It’s true we may have seen it before, a thousand times over. But we can’t resist that feeling it gives us, especially when we can watch it with that someone special.

This movie is a wonderful date movie to watch. Jennifer Garner does a great job in portraying her character and after seeing her in ‘13 Going On 30′ we know that she can play in these romantic movies.

So if you are having a girls’ night or just want to say a great movie with your special someone then definitely give this one a try. You won’t be dissapointed.
